Its Been a Good Week

I love to sew. I've never had a bad day sewing even when whatever I'm working with winds up in the trash. So this week has been great. I've done something sewing related almost every day and it's only a muslin. I need a white dress for Palm Sunday. Butterick 4691. I didn't have enough fabric suitable, and I didn't like the fabric I had for the pattern. Made the trek to Hancocks and found something I can live with. DH was in Utah last week so I was been able to work conscience free. Monday and Tuesday I made pattern adjustments. Thursday I put the first muslin together. I have several adjustments that need to be done. Since I have my own personal atmosphere, I need to wear three pieces so I can remain decent and not embarass anyone else. Right now, I'm planning to make my own tone-on-tone embroidered fabric for the tank top. I wish I didn't have to work. But duty calls. There was some heavy duty sewing this weekend! For once I actually thought this projet through before I started. I didn't want to run out of anything once I got started.

I owe BeeBee a long overdue word of thanks. She nominated me for the Sisterhood Award. Despite the fact that it's taken me so long to post, I was elated. She likes my lists! I didn't have one last weekend and got absolutely nothing done of any consequence. I'm still working on my nominees and will post them once the list is complete.

Your own "personal atmosphere". I like that.

Ha, I still like the lists. I'd like them better if you made one for me. I LOVE your spring suit, too. Beautiful work!
