Often to get a good shoulder blade fit the excess should be removed from the centre back (tapering to the neckline). In this case on both side of the zipper. Unfortunately this probably means that you have to take more fabric out of your side seam again. Also if you are making a sheath dress shouldn't you include the skirt part in your muslin because that will influence the overall shape as well? As you noticed in an earlier post foundation garments (eg. bra) make a big difference.
