My pattern was waiting for me when I got home last night. It was packaged very well, I received it when she said I would, the pattern was in excellent shape. And get this – she included a freebie. Now, next the names of my family members, my favorite word is “FREE”. She included a packet of 5 note cards. It probably didn’t cost her a lot, but she’s gained a customer. I often wonder why more stores don’t do this. A needle, a pattern, something. It’s a way of saying “thank you” that doesn’t cost the owner a lot, but pays big dividends on the part of the customer.
