Thanks!!

Thank you all so much for your congratulations on my retirement. It's been an adjustment and probably will be for a while. The best thing has been that I've never once wished I was back at work!

I hung my banner outside telling the entire neighborhood I no longer had any excuse for not doing yard work. So I've been weeding and doing some planting out front. In the back we've been stripping the deck to re-stain it. The deck is a big job, but it's tempered by a "you were right" from DH. When he put the last stain down I "suggested" that it might not be the right one. He disagreed and we've hated the deck ever since. Once we're finished we're planning a party to celebrate our retirement and life in general. However, with our track record of rain for parties it's good thing the basement is finished!
