I've been planning to inventory this all summer. All right I'm going in.
I just realized I should have photographed it all out on the lawn, but the neighbors think I'm crazy enough as it is. There are 14 boxes of PAAS Easter egg dyes, 8 bottles of dye for silk, cotton and rayon; 4 mordants (cream of tartar, iron ferrous sulfate, alum and copper sulfate); and 3 bottles of country Classics dyes. But on to the good stuff!
Romney (1 unwashed 2 washed)
Baby Doll Southdown (1)
Jacob (4 Jacob, but I'm going to gift 2)
Mohair (1 unwashed)
Alpaca (1 unwashed)
1 bag of unwashed odds and ends
If you've been counting along with me, you'll see that there are 10 bags of fleece in the shed. 10! Please note this does not include the 2 plastics bins of carded fiber and roving that are inside.
At least I know what I have. I'm going to try to get a couple more washed before winter sets in. The good news is that I haven't bought any this year!

You've got me beat! It was painful for me to read your post because I have been feeling guilty about not getting any washing done since the TdF and even then it was only minimal. I have such big plans in early spring and then the heat of the summer drains it right out of me. Even these nice days we have been having have not convinced me to spend my days standing in front of big pots of boiling water. Maybe in the fall. Good luck with your mission and keep us posted on your progress. I need some inspiration.
Wonderful! Lots of hours of fun. I have smaller amounts of unspun ... the next I want to do is huacaya alpaca, which needs a thorough cleaning first.
Wish i had some fleece to wash :o) your doing beautiful things , keep going , dont stop.love ya! Ginny
