I've been promising pictures for quite a while and here they are!! First here's the Lilith top by Berroco. It's knit using Knit Picks Twist. I didn't keep track of my time, but I did it in less than a month. Liana of Sew Intriguing made it and I loved it. The only changes I made were to lengthen it before the waist shaping began and to knit it in the round. I love it. If fits well and I can wear it with more than one item in my wardrobe. I've ordered yarn to make a cardigan so it will be a twin set. I'll be able to wear it year round.
This is the Sandra Betzina Shrug by Vogue that's all over Blog land, although Trini's picture on her blog convinced me to try it. After the alterations were finished it was easy peasy, I made a full bust adjustment and my usual length adjustments. I liked it so much I made it again along with the pants from Butterick 6337. Believe it or not, I made no adjustments other than lengthening the pant legs. I agree with Blondell that I need to lengthen the crotch about 1/2" but for a first try I'm thrilled.
