It has been crazy here! I want to thank everyone for the Anniversary wishes. We had a lovely evening at a new to us restaurant and came home and.... promptly feel asleep! Ain't married life grand! I can't send emails from here or I'd send you each a personal thank you. I'm getting used to blogger and didn't realize I had comments. Please forgive me for taking so long to respond.
Sheila bought the same cone yarn that I did. I'm still waiting on mine, hopefully this week. But since the cast doesn't come off til next week, I can't do anything with it anyway. She's planning to dye hers as well, maybe we'll have a dye-a-long!
Now to the introductory comment. We've been in this house for 10 years. The past 3 weeks DH has had a bug in his ear about getting the basement finished. We've gotten several quotes and the first contractor just finished. Yep, that's right the first one. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems. Two other projects have to be completed before we start the basement.
Am I the only one who has panic attacks when it comes to spending money? I'm good up to about $500 after that I get physically ill. Today was no exception. I've been sick all day and after writing that check, I thought I was going to pass out. I should probably get help, but I'm sick of doctors! It doesn't matter if DH or I write it, I get ill. Settlement was no fun. These next couple of months are going to be a real trial.

Oooh renovations... I love hearing about other homeowners' renovations. Once the basement is done, the memory of being sick over writing a check will become non-existent...lol I've definitely been there, especially when we had our basement done.
