Clothes

I went downstairs and took a long hard look at my stash. Compared to some (Hi, Carolyn) I don’t have that large a stash. BUT, if I’m not using it, it’s wasted. I’ve also got a lot of black.
This month I’m setting a goal for myself. Two skirts, two tops. The alterations for the skirts are simple. It’s the same pattern, different versions. The tops are going to take longer. One is actually a sweater set. It’s a McCall’s pattern I’ve had for years and never used. The other is fairly new. It’s a wrap top and I think it will work well with the skirt. If not as Liana says, you always need clothes, so if it doesn’t work, I’ll use it to work in the yard. NCIS and Eureka are both on so I can get the skirt alterations made.

I also noticed that while I have some color, I have an awful lot of black and white. Hmmm. While those two colors go with everything, I’m ready for some color.

ETA – Well it didn’t happen. For some reason, when I got home I was exhausted. Getting dinner ready, took what was left. By the time I got my second wind, it was close to 10. Too late to even start anything. Since I had surgery, I can stay up much later, but in order to get to work on time, I need to be out of the house by 5. Any guessing on what time I need to get up??
