I was going to post this tomorrow, but I couldn't wait!!

As of close of business today, Monday, May 3, 2010, I am free. After 33 years I'm retired. I never have to go to work again unless I choose to. Hallejuah! To God be the glory for the great things He has done!!!

Congratulations Melodye! What a beautiful photo banner your staff did for you! I retired Federal Govt with 33 years service in July 2007. My DH retired ahead of me. It took a little time to get the feel of it, the slowdown of not having all that responsibility and no appointments or schedule. Now you get to keep busy doing what you love! Enjoy retirement.

I'm gonna be just like you when I grow up....... which should be in another 2 years. Congratulations & best wishes for all that free time that you have earned. It was great seeing you again at MDS&W.

Congratulations, Melodye. What I wish for you the most in all the world is that you and DH have great good health. THAT is the most important thing. Learning to live together again will be an adventure. Have fun doing what you love when you want to.

Congratulations! Now, that I'm nearing that point myself, I'm very aware of people retiring. Enjoy your free time.
