My mother always says, " a hard head makes a sore behind". In this case substitute arms and you'd have it right. Friday I completed a machine knit dishcloth, but I wanted a garter stitch edging. On the machine you have to take the piece off and turn it every row. I didn't feel like it. So I thought it's been two months surely that's long enough. Friday I picked up the stitches around the perimeter, today I knit two rows. I won't mention the weeding or the 3 melon salad I made. Needless to say I'm hurting now. Off to grab the ice packs. It should probably he a heating pad, but I have power surges. I'm so disgusted with myself. Back to the docs tomorrow. Sigh.

I feel so sorry for you. I know how hard it can be not to do something. Take care of yourself.
Forgot to say I'll be sure to let you know the next time I'm up that way.
I think we are all glutens for punishment when it comes to doing something we want to do even if it "hurts" us.
Taking "Plavix" causes black and blue marks where ever you bump yourself or a sign of trauma! We laid some tile and my knuckles hurt like hell and looked like I was a boxer...oh well! it hurt but the floor looks good :o)

Hope you heal soon so you can get back to what you love-fiber crafting. Also, thanks your comment on my blog. I can't wait to do some serious knitting.
