Happy Thanksgiving!!

Just wanted to take a minute to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! It will just be the two of us today at Chez Ray. Harold is recovering from emergency Gall Bladder surgery last Wednesday and I'm recovering from whatever crud is going around at the minute. Among all the other things we're grateful for this year is a new grandson born last Friday and news that it isn't carpal tunnel as first diagnosed but a pinched nerve in my neck and right elbow. As soon we recover I'll have a MRI and a treatment plan will be developed. There will be needlework in my future!!

The painting is complete and looks fantastic! I sometimes forget what a difference a coat or 3 of paint can make. The sewing room project is moving along at a glacial pace and will probably continue to do so until after the Holidays.

I'd be remiss if I didn't take a minute to thank all servicemembers who are serving far away from home to protect the freedoms we hold dear. If you're a family member thank you for your sacrifece.
