Fitting

Thank you all so much for comments on my struggle to fit myself. Some of you have spoken of my determination and my stick to-it-tiveness. Here's why:

We won't talk about the 3 or 4 bins that I put in the shed this week. If I don't get it right, there will be one heck of fire sale.

Sewing is such a solitary undertaking. It helps knowing I have a cheering squad.

Thanks again,

You so make me feel less guilty. Good luck with the sewing endeavors.

I know your pain, that's why I vowed to stay away from Macys and Ann Taylor LOL

I too know your pain. I used to pay for storage for my yarn and fabric (after closing a design business) until t moved to a house with a dry basement. I have donated a lot of my fabric and my mothers fabric to my fashion classes, and that has given me some relief. a cheering squad definitely helps. Now that I have hooked up with other fashion teachers we all produce a lot more for ourselves than we did before.

Think of it as your resource center. I'm out of fabric storage and still buying fabric.

I'm like Beverly, you make me feel less guilty.

Judging from your last muslin, I don't think you have to worry about getting it right.

I gave up on sewing garments years ago because I could never fit myself. I will just have to admire all the wonderful things you make.
