Three years ago today, I received my new kidney. While I have many family members, for various reasons they were not a match, so my new kidney came from a cadaver. I never met him. Nor have I ever been able to thank his family to tell them what their generous gift means to me. I avoided dialysis and lead a normal life with no restrictions. Their gift meant a new life, not only for me but for countless others. If you're an organ donor, I thank you on behalf of individuals you will never know. If you're not, please consider it. If you know a living donor, give them a hug!!!

Thanks for sharing and continued blessed health.
I just committed to making an anatomical gift... I signed the back of my DL.
