Waste not, want not

     Harold's aunt was a crafter.  She used found objects and saved everything.   I finally got around to emptying the last box from her house last year.  I found 3 of these.  I didn't even know you could buy TicTacs in boxes this size. (3.5 ounces and the box measures 7" x 4" 1 1/2")  The next time I'm in Sam's I'll check as that is probably where she got them.  I started to throw them away but decided to keep them if only as historical artifacts. (I can justify anything!)

        I'm working on  Leaflines as a sample for the shop. I needed beads and visited the local big box stores.  Zip, zilch, nada. I stopped at a small local store and found them.  The only catch - only in 1/2 kilo size bags. 

        Yeah I bought them.  My reasoning:  the only place I knew would have them for sure was Beadazzled in downtown Baltimore.  30 minutes away, I'd have to find a place to park, pay to park and the chances of getting out of the store with only the beads I came to buy were slim to none.  And slim was on vacation.  There are also several small boutiques and independent shops on that street so it would have been an expensive trip, one I've made before.  So the beads were relatively cheap at cough, cough $17,95. 

      Once I got them home, I couldn't figure out how to store them. Enter one empty TicTac box.  Perfect!

     Oh, did I mention I only need 294 beads?
